My name is Paul D. Schell, owner and director of Jade Hearing
Instruments of Clarkston Michigan and Schell Hearing Aid Service located in Tawas City, Michigan.
We manufacture and repair custom hearing aids . . . this is what we do.
Our mission:
HELPING PEOPLE HEAR IS OUR ONLY BUSINESS
Our company had it's beginning in 1982 as an all-make
hearing aid repair lab. We soon realized the need and application of greater hearing
aid services to our community.
We registered with the FOOD AND DRUG ADMINISTRATION and
began the engineering and production of custom made In-The-Ear hearing aids. At the same time
we also continued with our all-make repair services, gaining valuable knowledge of
production and manufacturing techniques from worldwide leaders in a fast paced,
expanding high-tech business.
A tremendous education has been gained and employed, both
then and now, to provide you the best and most reliable hearing instruments possible.
The greatest knowledge I personally value, is that which I receive daily working directly
and personally with my clients.
Each person is different from the next. Each has a
unique hearing need and individualized behavior acknowledging and adapting to hearing
instrumentation. What a flavor one week's slice of life allows us to experience.
We
love what we do. We provide hearing test, hearing aids and hearing aid repair
services. Period.
Along with a love of people and profession, we delve deeply into the
vast technology offered in our industry. Great advances for people with hearing loss
give a greater variety and capability to help meet a more demanding market.
It is with ease and confidence we offer the most discriminating potential hearing aid wearer successful
results for a future of better speech understanding, comfort, reliability, etc. In
other words, we witness overall satisfaction that would not be possible with yesterdays
technology.

appointment for all-make repair services.

ALL-MAKE REPAIR SERVICES
At Jade Hearing Instruments and Schell Hearing Aid Service we provide all-make hearing aid repair services.
- Most any brand or style of aid may be repaired, whether purchased from us or from another hearing aid center.
- Hearing aids older than 6 years of age may not be repaired, due to an unuseable condition or unavailability of compatible repair parts.
- ESTIMATES ARE FREE !
- Repair service generally takes half an hour to complete for you.
It is important to reserve yourself an appointment to allow necessary time to repair and test your hearing aid to confirm it's after repair stability.
To often a rushed repair results in return-by-mail or office visits for re-repair service.

Please make an appointment, allowing us proper time to repair your hearing aid(s) right the first time, eliminating the need for a return/second appointment to repair again!
Hearing aids may be mailed in or dropped off at our offices for servicing at your convenience if an appointment time in not practical.
